Placement Fee Explained
How Does Placement Fee Works?
The placement fee, also known as the helper’s loan, covers the costs of recruiting and processing a helper for employment. The employer pays this amount upfront during deployment, and the helper repays it through salary deductions over the initial months of employment.
The repayment period varies depending on the agreed placement fee and is subject to Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower (MOM) regulations.
